Holiday Boutique

Note from the Chairs:

The holiday season is quickly approaching us with weather cooling and the days beginning to shorten. School is well underway and the kiddies have finally figured out that summer is alas over.

This is also the time that us Trailwood moms and dads begin getting ready for a lot of fun. Our “free time” is busy planning classroom helpers, and readers and events such as the annual auction, carnival and, of course, the ever exciting Holiday Boutique… And this year the boutique has become even more exciting for you artisan, craft and merchandise shoppers.

It’s not just the wonderful shopping to get excited for… This year we have added indoor inflatables to the lineup!! How exciting. Bring your kids in on a cold day to jump, while you shop and visit with friends!!!

Trailwood Elementary Holiday BoutiqueExcited yet? But there’s more… We will also be adding to our artisan, craft and merchandise vendors. We have tutus, home decor, jewelry designers, scrumptious food, personalized stationary, sweet smelling body products, baby garb, hair and fashion accessories and more in store for you this year.

Now I know you are excited. If you are attending our sale to shop for yourself and your lovelies stay tuned for more. If you are attending our sale to sell your ware visit our vendor’s page for more information… And we are happy to have you.

Tell your friends about our bigger and badder sale this year and we’ll see all of you in a few short weeks!

Best to you and your lovelies,

Alexis Burdick & Robin Neal

  4. Hello, my mom and I are interested in being vendors at your upcoming holiday event and would like to know if there are still booths available and what sizes are available. We sell crafted fabric flowers, made of lace, shimmering tull, or cotton fabrics of various colors. Could you please email us information needed to become a vendor.

    Thank you
    Heather

    • Heather, these flowers sound absolutely adorable. I just sent you an email with some extra info. We’ve had quite a few people contact this week and with only a handful of booths remaining, I’d recommend getting your app in sometime this week.

Let me know if you have any questions!

  5. Hi, My name is Julia and I would like to bake a bunch of deserts to sell at you Holiday function, single servings and whole pies and cakes, cookies and more. I was just wanting to know how to go about doing this? Thanks

      • I have some unique recipes, like home made saltine toffee, Ritz cracker pie, cakes, orange dream cheese cake and other cheese cakes, cookies and so on. I hope it does not conflict and I can also eliminate anything that the 6th grade class makes. The pies I would sell whole or can also sell as slices, same with the cakes. Thanks, Julia

      • Julia,

Gosh! Everything above sounds wonderful. I have an email into the 6th grade coordinating mom. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back. Thank you so much for your patience!

        Best,

        Alexis

      • Hi Julia,

I’m still not certain on whether the 6th graders will be using a table space on Saturday too, but go ahead and send in your app and check and I’ll try to get you in either way. We are currently out of booth spaces, though we’re looking at adding additional booths to fill demand. I’m still expecting additional apps, so the sooner you get your app and check into the school office, the better your chance is of getting in.

Let me know if you have any questions!

  6. Hi Alexis,
I was referred to this event by Melanie McColligan. I would be blessed to have the opportunity to have a booth/table at your event. I make customized gift baskets all different themes, sizes and prices. I use vintage items in a lot of my baskets and other gift items. Let me know if there is any space left? I am truly hoping so.
    Thank you,
    Lisa Blackwell913-888-1754

    • Hi Lisa,

Your baskets sound unique and fun. Love it. We are filling pretty quickly and I don’t expect to have any spaces left by the Nov 1st deadline. We would love to have you at the boutique, I recommend getting your app and check in to the school office as soon as you are able.

    Thank you,
    Cindy

      • Hi Mindy,

I don’t think we’ve had anything like It Works in the past, but the line is interesting and I can see where some shoppers might like it. Feel free to fill out an app and send it in. We can all give a booth like yours a try. : )

    • Hi Nuchanarth,

We would love to have a fellow Trailwood mom in a booth. The Thailand handicrafts that I’ve seen in the past are just beautiful with vibrant colors, textures and patterns. Like I’ve mentioned in past comments, we are getting pretty filled up so I would recommend getting your application and check into the school office as soon as you are able.

  10. HI Alexis,
Do you still have vendor space available for your event? If so, I’d be interested in applying, assumming you do not already have a Beijo bags consultant signed up … please let me know. Thanks so much!

  11. One of your parents, Lynda Ohlde, recommended this event for my daughter’s business. She is 14 and makes hair bows and tutus/tutu dresses. Her business name is Bows.Girly and is on Facebook if you would like to take a look. This mom met us down at Union Station and said that she thinks we would be a good fit with your event and that you hadn’t had anything like ours in the past. My daughter does not have school on that Friday, so it will not interfere. The only thing is would it be possible to only do Friday, as she is booked already for that Saturday? Thank you, Valerie Gray

    • Hi Valerie,

Actually, we are are trying to keep all booths to 2 day booths, but I have an application coming in for a Saturday only booth and I’d love to put your daughter at her table on Friday. I’m not sure if you are able to drop your app and check at the school office today, we have about 6 spaces left (maybe less after I pickup today’s mail) and I can’t hold any booths without them. We can also link to her FB page from our website.

Let me know if you have any questions. The application can be printed from this website.

      Best,

      Alexis

    thanks!
    Heather

  13. I am also interested if there is any openings or cancellations. I am a Simply Said consultant. We offer exclusive and custom vinyl designs for your home, business or office. These designs allow you to use the power of language to add inspiration, comfort, humor and encouragement to any space. We have a very large catalog of different items to choose from.
